I surprisingly stumbled on another fashion thread on Anandtech that was considerably helpful, so I figure I would post this seperate 'fashion' question to my fellow techies before going on upscale style blogs that I just feel completely out of place on. A key piece of my wardrobe at work are my Converse shoes. I've been wearing Converse Chuck Taylors in one style or another ever since they came out. The shoes tend to last me forever, but the laces wear out pretty quickly.
From techie-to-techie, what are your thoughts on this -
Since I am going to replace the laces to begin with, I'd like to add some style to them. What colors typically work for black and white shoes? What colors would not completely freak you out if you saw me at work? I want to stay away from the neons, but want something a little bit more dare-I-say hip then the ones the originally came with.
