Controls for Silent Hill 2 PC?

Anyone know what the controls are besides up, down, right and left arrows? For some reason, as far as I can tell, the game doesn't actually say what they are.

Never played this game and I've pressed every key on the keyboard but can't seem to pick up the bloody map in the first 2 minutes of the game, haha. :'(

Honestly, your best bet by far is to simply use a gamepad.

The game was designed around it, controls much better with it, and was ported to the PC as a near complete afterthought.

Wonderful game, but meant to be experienced with a gamepad.

even then the controls were pretty terrible.......love the game though 😀

I'm not going to buy a gamepad for the time being because I'm not sure how much I'll get into gaming - mostly love the concept behind this game.

So I figured out that to fight you hit shift-f-space…. Phew that took some typing haha. Oh, and it's spacebar x2 to pick up objects.
