I've asked something similar in the HT thread but got no replies so maybe it'll be better served here.
So has anyone got a similar setup working and how has it been working for you? I'm looking at getting mine to where I can say:
"Alexa let's watch a movie" - This will turn on TV, AVR, wake up HTPC and set everything to the correct inputs. Same if I want to watch TV or play a video game.
Then "Alexa, have Kodi play "xxxxxx" - Kodi will then play the file from my local file server.
I already have an Echo Dot but I'm assuming the first part will require a Harmony Hub. Will I need a Harmony remote as well, such as the 650?
One guide I skimmed through wants you to register an AWS and another guide talking about Amazon developer console. Are these the same and if not which would be the better route. I should have no problem following the guides but if someone who has done this before and can point me in the right direction that would be great.
