controlling fans

i have fans connected to my motherboard but they dont have tach sensors. i cant control it with my intel software since it doesnt have the tach sensors. i heard theres a program called "speedfan". would that work for me?
 
You could do a hardware version. It would regulate it via the electricity going to the fan. But automatic control, I don't know.
