I don't know where else to ask this, but i've been trying to solve this problem for a while. I can never seem to get controllers on my PC to use rumble/vibration. No matter what adapters or drivers i use (use PS2 controllers usually). They should work without any problem, but i just can't get the vibration/rumble working right. I tried buying a new PS2->USB adapter today from radioshack that's supposed to support rumble and stuff but it won't do it. So i don't think it's the controller, adapter, or driver's fault. Something to do with my PC i guess.
With my older PS2->USB adapter, i can get rumble when testing it from the Windows' Controller Properties testing window, but when it's supposed to rumble in a game it just freezes my whole computer and my PS2 controller is stuck vibrating until i turn off my computer manually. I can't figure out what the problem is. It's not a real big deal but i'd like to be able to use the rumble feedback, since i paid for it. Any ideas?
I can hook up my driving force wheel to the PC and the force feedback works fine. So I'm clueless as to what the problem is.
