Controller for PC

ive been playing NBA LIVE 2005 for a long time and i cant do aley hoops in slam dunk competions which in practice mood says "tap right analog stick in any direction to initiate toss" so i know i need a controller.. so which one should i get

oh yeah and i dont know whether the usb port i have is USB 2.0 how do i find out

Personaly I have a Saitek P2500 I'm very happy with, so I'll toss in a rec for one of those :) won't matter for USB 1 or 2 either should work fine for a gamepad

will any gamepad work in usb 1
btw ur controller looks fine does it have 2 triggers

I have heard good things about the Xbox 360 controllers for PC. I would try mine, but they are wireless so I can't. You can plug any wired 360 controller into the PC via USB, you don't need to buy the controller that is packaged specifically for windows. The only difference between the pc version and the xbox version is that the pc version comes with a driver cd. You can get the drivers from the website here:

Yep. Although, I've never used it in NBA live. Just download the drivers Boobs McGee linked to, install them first, and plug in the 360 controller.

You might have to play with the settings for a little while to get it how you want it, but it works great as a PC gamepad.
