control panel problems in win2k, maybe someone has an idea?

hey all,

as of late i havent been able to enter the advance settings of my display settings. windows gives me an error saying that "windows wncounter a problem trying to open desk.cpl" or something liek that. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the video drivers to no avail. its no big deal really as i dont have much of a video card, (pci monster fusion) but its more of the concept that i cant control something with the system 🙂

anyways, any thoughts would be appreciated

I encounter that problem longggg time ago. I don't know what happened but only a reinstallation of Win2K fixed the problem.

I would check at microsoft knowledge base if I were you. support.microsoft.com

you thik maybe a repai of win2k would do it instead of doing a clean install....im tired of doing clean installs..
