Contribution parts for DC projects

I remember having a thread like this before and looked for it but couldn't find it. I am in need of about 2 patch cables if anyone can spare some.

Items I have:

1 AMD 266 Chip
1 AMD 233 Chip
2 32M chips of PC66 RAM
some miscellaneous Pentium chips.

1 PII 266 chips (slot type)

added:

1 5-port D-link hub
1 6-port hub
1 33.6k (might be 56k) PCI modem

You will have a tough time with this project! I have been involved with 3 of this things and have got screwed over every time. One of the projects just actually took the money and used it up for another project that had nothing to do with a crack rack. One of these was for RC5 and the other 2 for Seti.

I'll see what I have. I think I have some parts I was just going to throw away (aka bring to the dump to the computer recycling center) anyways. I guess this should save me the trip the dump.

What project were you thinking of running? It makes no difference to me, as long as they crunch of team anandtech. I'm just curious.

I'm crunching for Folding@home. I've got Heat under trevinom. Osage can vouche for me.
I"m currently having to switch the patch cable between 2 systems. I also have a spare PII system I'd like to get crunching, I know it's not much but anything will help, I figure.

Patch cables.. you mean just CAT5 ethernet with RJ45? Just send me your shipping addy and I'll send you a couple... Do they need to be any specific length? Do you need a hub? I've got a couple of 10mb hubs kicking around that aren't doing anything useful except keeping the dust off the table below them... :roll:

Same here I have a 10Mbps hub and I can get some patch cables too.

Patch cables are not a problem. What else would you need? I made lots of great trades with other DC peeps. I have a box full of stuff for the asking!!!

Thank you for the offer, Compudog, I gave GeoffS my address. I think he's gonna send me some. I appreciate the offer though, if there are any other people that have needs, let's hear it, maybe I can dig up some stuff.
