Contract coding: What's the average rate nowadays?

Just curious if any of you are contract coders, and if so what's your rate?

Most average hire guns will get a min of $35/hr

Better you are and the area of skills will get you close to 3 digits.

Probably a bit less than contract killing. I suggest that you learn that skill. You will be a wanted man.

I work at $18/hr. personally because of my student classification. $35-$40 is the normal range though.
