My fiancee was on the shot for the past few years and it worked great for us. She just recently made a unanimous decision to go off of it (without asking me), so we've switched over to a condom. Not as much fun, but still working. Tried the jelly, hated how it "felt", the pill had similar side effects as the shot, apparently.

Either that or just plain saying 'no' works. 😛
