Along with the tweets stating that Trans people will no longer be allowed in the military Trumps administration also filed a amicus brief urging the courts to find that LGBTQ people do not get Title VII protection, something the EEO was arguing for.

The government, in a friend-of-the-court brief filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, urged a panel of judges to reject a push to extend the scope of protection under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include a prohibition against sexual orientation discrimination. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission supported that protection.

It seems that the administration is doing a full court press against the LGBTQ community.

Thank you to the LGBT community! I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.

How the hell can the government get away with urging a court to do anything?

Trump : A man(ish) on a quest to become the most hated personality in the history of ever(sry judas). - And thus he inspired generations of young people in the ways of how not to do things.
Trump was in essence the very opposite of a lighthouse, he was the darkness to steer far far away from.

I can see The Trump Man featured in scary childrens books in the future as well.

Other than the National Law Journal? Sure...

Here is the brief itself.

Thanks, it was not loading last night. Although given this morning's load time, maybe I just didn't have the patience to wait for it. Also, it appears to be behind a paywall rendering the site useless.

Anyways, the link to the document worked, seems legit. Can't seem to find news covering it.

Does not appear like they have any chance of winning.

Title VII, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-1, et seq., is the federal law that prohibits discrimination in employment because of sex. In 989, the United States Supreme Court ruled that sex dis-crimination includes discrimination based on “sex stereotyping,” or a person’s perceived nonconformity with gender stereotypes. Price Waterhouse v. Hopkins, 490 U.S. 228 (1989).
