Greetings,
So i'm pretty new to raid, I know how to use and such and am currently using it on my Asus mobo. 2 1.5TB's in Raid 1. Like I said i'm currently using mobo onboard raid to do this. My concern is what do I do if one HD dies? Asus uses this software called Raid xpert or something which isn't the best, and I've heard it's hard to rebuild arrays if one HD crashes.
Also I prefer some good software that will allow you to check the health of the array, and each HD and that's user friendly. Anyways I'm wondering if there are any good PCI cards that I can get to accomplish this, that comes with good software and is user friendly. I plan on setting up another 2TB Raid 1 array very soon. Please advise guys.
