Continue to have problems with CD-RW

Here is my setup:

EPoX 8KTA3+ (With latest BIOS)
Athlon 1.2GHz
512mb PC150
IBM 20GB 60GXP
Plextor 8/4/32
Sony 52x CD-ROM
Sony 6x DVD-ROM
Windows 98/2000 Dual Boot

I installed Nero 5.54, and I am able to burn in Windows 98, but not in Windows 2000. I have ran ForceASPI, and done everything I possibly can in Windows 2000 (DMA enable, etc. etc.), but with no success. I have had so many problems with this board, and I think it has something to do with the VIA KT133A chipset. I had problems with my SB Live! Value, but fixed it. I just haven't been able to resolve this one. Someone please shed some light, cause I am ready to throw this board out and get something else.
