Continual Issues - Please Help

I recently upgraded a few parts on my PC. I added 32GB of RAM, a new 3TB HDD, and a second video card in CrossfireX. I was having an awful time after a fresh install with continual blue screens that I narrowed down to a faulty memory stick. I swapped my 16GB kit back in and now I'm getting these random freezes. It doesn't show a blue screen and does not create a minidump like the memory crashes from earlier but it is completely unresponsive causing me to have to reboot the machine. Nothing is overclocked.

Where do I begin troubleshooting this? Nothing is showing up in the event logs and there is no blue screen/dump to point me in the right direction. My gut is saying it may be the second video card but I'm at a loss where to start.

Use one memory stick at a time.

Keep swapping out the sticks until you find one that boots fine then move onto there.

Cold weather months mean less humidity and more static in the air so it is a very important time to make sure you are well grounded before touching memory/inside the pc.

Try the video cards separately. Could be a crossfire issue as well. Definitely isolate and pull things out and put things back in. Start with the basics, and add back in until you're done.

Could be that the additional graphics card is getting you near the capability of your power supply too. I've seen power problems cause such problems and not write anything to the logs.

Does your HDD activity light show as solid on when the machine becomes unresponsive? Can you move the mouse cursor?

I figured it out everyone. After swapping parts in and out for 2 days I found out I had wires stuck in 2 fans and so my CPU was overheating. Removing the wires keeps it at a solid 45 C under load.

So stupid of me.
