I was looking at my reward ticket options and I noticed that there was an economy and business class for each. Almost all my results had SaverPass available at half the miles.

I looked up what the difference between these two were in their FAQ, and they are very short and generic descriptions. What I'm wondering is...

If I were to book a trip with the SaverPass while the seat is available now - is it possible I'd get stuck on some standby list when the flight fills up? What's the risk here?

There's more easypass availability, so if the flight you're interested in has saverpass available, I'd jump on it. IIRC, there's no other difference, but you might wanna call to confirm

As Aharami said, its all about availability. Easypass is good on almost everything, Saverpass is more limited but you don't have to use as many points.

Last year we decided fairly last minute on a cross country from FL to Seattle. Economy only had Easypass seats left, but Business class had both Easypass and Saverpass. We took the Business class saverpass seats for the same price as the easypass Economy :)
