We've updated the rules to now include international submissions. Also, I'm surprised no one here has entered. There are 9 (some really great) games being given away here and all you have to do it write an Haiku.

I cannot beleive how hard it is to give away games to the internets. :(

Probably because you're giving away Rock Band 1 instead of 2 :p. They're like, "all that work for the crappy drums!"

Honestly, I don't want to watch a podcast that doesn't interest me in order to write a haiku about it just to have a chance to win some games that I will never play...

This is just my opinion, of course, but if other people feel the same way it could explain why you don't have many entries.

My entry:

The games play nicely
Violent sounds taking off
My friends heads get shot

That's my first haiku ever!

I'm glad to hear it! I've been on the organizing side of some contests in the past and it's frustrating when you don't get a good response.

I'd enter, but I don't think I could write a Haiku to save my ass. I just don't get it.

Haiku poetry is very simple. It consists of three lines with 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third. It doesn't need to rhyme but frequently says something significant (like the "Confucius Say" sayings).

For an example, this is one of my favorite haiku poems:

Yesterday it worked
Today it is not working
Windows is like that
