Conterstrike: can't patch vers 1.5 to latest version

I can't patch my 'ol CS1 vers 1.5 to whatever the latest version is, so I can't even play online I guess. Where do I go to patch it or do the expect me to buy CS2?
 
well if you want to play CS:S you have to pay for it, well pay for HL2. if you want to play CS 1.6 you need to install steam punch in your seriel for CS and it will DL the newest version
