I am doing some computer work for my son's school and they have asked me to look into content filtering software. They are running Windows Server 2003 with Internet connection sharing to give internet access to the school. Basically, they are two Ethernet jacks, one to the DSL modem and the other to a small switch.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here? It doesn't need to be anything fancy, basic text/naughty word scanning would probably be fine, but it would have to monitor all traffic through ICS.
I know there are a million options in Linux. I can't change their server OS because they run grading software on it.
