Anyone have any ideas of how to get rid of this on W98 for IE5.5 ? The settings will not stay in place. Please advise . Thank you

run regedit

[*]hkey local machine
[*]software
[*]microsoft
[*]windows
[*]current version
[*]policies
[*] highlight ratings
[*]on the right side of the screen delete the LONG key with various #'s and letters
[*]reboot PC
[*]go to the control panel
[*]internet options
[*]content tab
[*]it should now say ENABLE

you will need to delete or rename the file called "ratings.pol" (I think thats correct) in the windows/system directory.... if you can't find the file you need to turn on "show all files" in the folder options for explorer. the support site at microsoft has information on it..

or you can do the registry dance as above I guess.. although I've never tried that, just did what MS site told me to do..
