What is a good brand of contacts to wear, do they hurt, what's the longest you can keep them in, how long do they last, etc...

Also, how much is normal eye exam.

I used to wear glasses but stopped because i hate them so now i want to get contacts because I'm tired of not being able to see out of one eye. Can someone give me some advice.

Thanks in advance ATOT

a normal eyeglass exam is about $50. A contact lense fitting and eye exam is about $100.

Oh, and ask a doctor those questions for the best answers. basically, everyone reacts differently as to how long they can keep contacts on, whether they can sleep with them on, if they hurt etc.

Well, i wear Ciba Focus Monthly. However, most people find them to be a bit thick and "slippery." Personally i prefer the slippery type (note: theyre not slippery when wearing them, just when cleaning them and handling with your hands). Im not a good judge of how long to wear them, but if i go long they are good for 16 hours depending on how old they are. But there are new types to give your cornea more O2 and can be worn longer.

Eye exams tend to be ~$150, including the contact exam (which is much more involved than a usual exam). Got my last one at Costco for $90 though.
