Contact import for ipod touch

I got my wife a touch for her birthday and now I would like to get her contacts imported. I know that it will import from windows address book, but what are my other options? We don't have any Macs in the house, only windows-based machines. I read something about an api with Plaxo, but it looks like it has to be connected to the internet for it to work. I'd like to be able to access the contacts offline as well.

Anybody use anything different? It is jailbroken running 1.1.1.2.
