No kidding. I watched maybe 2 mins of it and stopped.

Ummm, complain about what? That a company uses advertising to support the service of giving us a very good free search engine? Free e-mail? Several OTHER free services that you might have to pay for elsewhere?
Nah, I'll leave that to the whiners...
My ONLY concern would be Google's privacy issues, and if you don't give them personal information, they really can't share it....now can they?

-People make websites and have google adwords links.
-Site have no content and only have more links to other sites listed in google's search results.
-Said people make money when the people click on the link on their site instead of through a link on google.com
-Said people's sites climb to the top of the google search pages and push down legitmate and informative pages.
-Users must sift through search results with BullSh!t detectors set to max and waste time looking for the information they need.
-Google loses integrity, google users have to work harder to find good results, thus negating the point of google.

People actually click on the sponsored results?

Also, I can't stand listening to this guy talk, I couldn't watch the whole thing.

QFT, how could anybody defend these unscrupulous advertisers?

I see no problem.

It's not taking money away from the person who clicks on it, and if it takes credibility out of the program, then ad prices will go down, which makes it cheaper to advertise if you own an online business.

So what's the problem?

It sounds almost like a pyramid scheme, with Google at the top.

It is. Short term, google will reap profits off this, till folks are driven away by the spam content.

The problem is that in the long run Google will lose credibility for it's sponsored links (since they are becoming increasingly bogus). If nobody clicks the links, Google won't make the money that helps them provide the free services they do.

These ads also make it more difficult to navigate sites and get useful information for users. Not only that, but they are in clear violation of Google's own rules for advertisers.
