Need to get new all season tires for my 2010 93 SS. Does anyone remember what their top rated 2013 tires were? Specifically there were two. I can't remember #1, but I think #2 were continentals.

Could you also let me know what the 1 & 2 rated tires were for 'High Performance All Season Tires.'

I had that issue, but threw it out.

I would use tire racks ratings.

What size tire?

Thanks, but I want to go by Consumer Reports. If only so I can get the names of the tires they rated. Then of course I'll read the reviews on Tire Rack or similar.

I too would much sooner use TireRack than Consumer Reports but I do happen to have a CR account so...

Top two in performance all season:

1) Michelin Primacy MXV4
2) Continental PureContact

Viper GTS

I have a consumer reports account, but I'd still recommend Tire rack. There were like a handful of tires Consumer Reports gave a great rating to but because tires are different new than when they're a few years old, what ended up happening is the tires got hard as a rock and lost all of their traction, became noisy, etc. etc.

MXV4s are great tires for the average driver. I really don't see the issue with CR's conclusion UNLESS you're an enthusiast.

Definitely don't buy the MXV4 Energy S8 tires! Those are overpriced garbage! Their tread life is absolutely terrible and one of the reasons is that the tires start with only 9/32" (most start at 11-12/32"). They're much more expensive than the Primacy, get the same fuel economy, have average grip, just an overall shitty tire. I just Michelin would stop making those terrible S8 tires.

consumer reports can be BS, most people have no idea what to look for in a lot of the categories.

I remember that water in a can Behr paint Home Depot sells was rated #1 and it probably still is.
