So why would pressure lower when i take a fast corner in my first car, a ford escort, which was low on oil? I used the engine stop burning addictive twice and it stopped losing oil.

Pressure would lower because the sump would momentarily get completely dry of oil, lowering pressure to an unsafe point.

The oil pan is not baffled well or at all, or the level is so low that the baffles can't help?
