No problems with AT&T service from Straight Talk.

Verizon is clearly better(except their 3G speeds), but I'd say AT&T is 2nd place here above T-Mobile and Sprint.

My experience:
T-Mobile from Fall 2004-Dec 2008; Verizon Dec 2008-Oct 2011; Straight Talk(an AT&T pre-paid MVNO) Oct 2011-Present.

The microcell is garbage. It may give you more bars, but the calls take 4x as long to connect.

AT&T charges an additional 20$ per month for "Unlimited" MicroCell calling that uses your broadband......

Also, any data you use while connected to a MicroCell counts against your data limit. Of course if you're in an area with a MicroCell you'd be connected to WiFi anyway, but still.

I'm fine with Sprint. Their 3G is pretty dang slow but they're still cheaper than Verizon and AT&T. What I don't understand is why people are so unhappy about losing Premiere. A mere $75 discount off of inflated unsubsidized prices after one year is completely overrated. I remember the first time I got a notification that I qualified for a 12-month upgrade, but everything was way too expensive.
Absolutely ridiculous. That's highway robbery.

Well, if you're in an area with good coverage from both, 3G speeds can be apretty convincing factor. When I temporarily switched to Verizon, EV-DO was just painful. Thank God for LTE....

I liked the Airave from Sprint... it worked quite well, except every once in a while when an SMS would look, from the phone, like it hadn't been sent but the recipient was actually getting a copy of it 15-20 times in the span of a minute.

It really depends on location. I have better service with ATT then I ever did with Sprint. FTL Tmobile in my area is atrocious.
