At bestbuy the 804.11 cards are on clearance, is this to make way for 804.11b cards?

I was going to settle for 1.4mega bit but if 11 is right around the corner...
 
11 Megabit has been available for a while now, only problem is all the cards Ive found cost $150+, so if anyone has any leads on cheaper cards, $100 or less, please let me know.
