Deny it all you want, it's painfully obvious to anyone who has been reading your torrent of spittle filled posts lately. You're Spidey's Democrat counterpart. And your [sic] delusional if you think anything Obama is doing or will do can even remotely help the economy.

LMAO if you can't handle the truth block me...until you block me get off my fucking ass.

Hi,

I am a private wealth managment firm.

I made $1.7bn in profit during 2Q11. I wanted to make $2bn in profit. Since I am short $300,000,000 dollars - I am going to lay off 3,500 employees over the next 12 months.

Now, I am not losing money. But, my sales force did not pull in their quote for new assets under management. And, I must ensure that if my profit goal is not met, I trim where possible, to make up for the "lost" profit.

Again - not losing ANY money here. And, this is JUST for 3 months worth of activity.

Sincerly yours,
- A Job "Creator"

P.S. I am also sitting on billions of liquid cash.

Except small businesses employ half of all private employees. Making $1.7B does not qualify as a small business... if ten of these companies did the same thing it would be a blip on the employment picture.

C'mon, let's rearrange the deck chairs a couple more times before we sink. It'll do us so much good. Obama, Bush, Palin, Romney, Perry, etc, etc, etc, insert [politician] here, he will be a corporate stooge and complete failure. ~6T on foreign wars in the last decade alone, unsustainable debt, growing gap between rich and poor, declining competitiveness in the global market, unbridgable trade deficits, declining education, hyperpartisan poisoned base of voters incapable of self analysis or complex thought, can I tell you we're fucked good and hard?

Yeah, Republicans are trying to destroy America.

Do you ever stop and realize how much you sound like Spidey07?

It may not be they are trying to. It's just they are unwilling to do anything that might help Obama no matter how much they're hurting America.

Helping him and his disastrous policies are NOT an option. He MUST BE STOPPED.

House republicans are doing what they ran on in the historic 2010 elections - stop obama and his job killing, economy wrecking, poverty exploding, food stamp flowing, policies.

Help Obama? Hell no, no way.

Thank you Spidey07 for proving my point. You only care about hurting Obama. You do not care how badly you hurt America too. You and the lunatics like you are killing jobs and wrecking the economy.

I bet you 2 minutes after a Republican makes it into the White house the Trillions of dollars Big Biz is sitting on will flood the market.

No, his policies are wrecking the economy and the best course of action is to stop him. That's they only way to get this country back on track - stop obama. Why do you think businessmen and CEO's are saying he's the biggest thing stopping any recovery? This was his plan, he told you this is what he wanted in the campaign, you just weren't listening. I was.

If you agree with obama or his policies, you're part of the problem and certainly not the solution. The only way forward is to stop him, why do you think confidence is so low? Why do such an overwhelming majority of people say we're headed in the wrong direction? That's Obama, it's all him.

But do keep up the talking point, of course he needs to fail, his policies are not to succeed for they are a disaster. If there was a hint of success in any of it then maybe, but there isn't, only failure and destruction and stagnation.

Pay attention to his policies regarding energy, regulation, suing states, suing private companies, why yes, he does have the boot on the necks of private industry, just like he promised, just as he wants. This is the result of HIS policies, he owns this failed presidency.

Oh well then i guess that makes it ok for the big guys to do it then. How silly of us to think otherwise.

That is all youve done is stop him. So let me get this straight..the GOP pres has ran the country for 8 years prior and did a bang up job (/sarcasm). Obama comes in and does nothing but continue where the GOP left off yet he is ruining the country? How would you know, he hasnt been able to do anything he wanted to do to try to change things? Basically all you are saying the GOP has ruined the country but because its a black man it must be bad.

Consumers shouldn't be confident, this economy is in shambles and will most likely get a lot worse.

matt0611's posts come off as pretty smart. He doesn't like what he sees in the fundamentals in our economy and is saying consumers shouldn't be confident. Don't think it is ignorant at all.

Well then you tell me, what is there to be confident about that makes matt0611's post ignorant?

Instead of just pushing hate of "repugs" try like representing and defending an idea of what you like.

Consumer confidence is low because more people see who is to blame for our shitty economy, and its big business. CEO's just found a way to push the blame on Obama, knowing the howling uneducated masses like yourself would believe them.

And that's the problem with the GOP. Rather than actually govern, their entire platform right now is tear down the opposition and repropose the same old tired, failing policies that led us into this mess.

You know what really is to blame for our shitty economy? OUR SHITTY ECONOMY! It is founded on debt, and inflation so we can have more debt.

Big business and banks were the winners of the game, they are not the problem. If you knock them down with higher taxes all you have is a shitty economic system with really high taxes.
