Hello

I was just looking at this consultancy companies website and it states that there are four levels of recruitment

Practice expert
engagement expert
case expert
analysis expert

i think i have figured out the practice and case but am not sure what an engagement and analaysis experts are. they sound the same as practice and case experts

Title & scope of position varies by consulting firm. The labels of the positions also vary by firm.

You might get ideas here.

Typically the career path goes similar to this:
associate
consultant
project leader
manager
partner

Look at career website of a few and compare them; say maybe Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, BearingPoint, Deloitte Consulting.

Lots of boutique consulting firms don't follow that career path scheme. Again, title, scope & label of role varies by firm.
