I did three MegaTokyo drawings while I was away from home for a few days. This is actually my first serious art in a long time, since nothing had really inspired me until I found MT. Anyway, I think I'm back into the drawing groove now. Please take a look:
art page: Thatbox's Art
And since the art page could take a bit to load on 56k (which I got unfortunately reacquainted with while I was at my grandparents), to get the sketches individually just add /fanart1.jpg, /fanart2.jpg, and /fanart3.jpg to the above url.

Please give me comments on how I can improve them, especially since I have not yet gone over them with Photoshop! I'm actually having some trouble with the photoshopping, so any advice on how to approach stuff like this would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure what MegaTokyo is, but they look nice. I don't like the hair on the left side on pics 2 + 3, and he/she needs some shoulders on pic 3. I'm guessing the eyes are supposed to be that far apart? It's been quite a while since I've tried to do any anime, and even longer than that since I've tried to do any in Photoshop. Search for tutorials on Julie's How to Draw Anime, I think the site doesn't exist anymore but they are still all over the place. I know they have pdf's on Kazaa of it. There is one in particular that shows some tips on working with it in Photoshop. I've lost all my links on the subjust, sorry. :p

I wish I could get out of my artist block. It only takes 1 or 2 good pictures to do it, but I just don't have the inspiration or motivation to do it. I'm going to go get some Brisel board and drawing pens and try to start back up this week.

Yeah, like I said, it had been a while since I'd drawn seriously. But MegaTokyo inspired me -- its a webcomic with an actual plot! I read the while 2.5 years worth of comics in one night.
