:: Construction Ques.:: Is Laminate Flooring okay for small restaurant

I was wondering if there were any contractors out there who have suggestions about laminate flooring for commercial use. The restaurant dining area is about 700 sqft.

Thanks in advance,

Here is a suggestion: If you have a new Super Wal-Mart nearby, go into the baby section and check out the flooring there. It looks like wood laminate. It has a nice look to it and I am sure that it is meant for high traffic. I do not know if it is vinyl or if it is really laminate, but it has a "real" look to it.

Peace

True, but it is also likely to shatter. They make wood tiles (that look like regular tile) that snap together. I installed a floor using it. It isn't the cheapest, but it works pretty well.
