7am on our roof for weeks. Is there any chance I could use this to get out of my lease? It was not going on nor was it mentioned when I moved in 2 months ago, also they have an 8am noise policy for tenants.

what are they doing that takes weeks on the roof. I'd complain to the management/landlord and see what they say.

Talk to management about it, see if they can start a little later at least.

Though would you rather deal with noise in the morning or a bad roof?

What you are talking about is something called constructive eviction, based on noise.

Consult a lawyer in your home state to see what relief is available to you in your jurisdiction.

Well, they said its going to take a month total to fix the roof. Considering this is California, I'd rather deal with the roof than the noise at 7am. (I am a college student!) I also just moved in very recently and they never said anything about this.
