Construction accident at 6th Ave b/w 42nd & 43rd St, NYC

So I was heading out to lunch when there was a huge crashing noise - a construction crane 40 floors up on the Bank of America building flipped out and dumped its load. The stuff knocked out 3 windows along the way too - and of course gravity prevailed

3 people injured and a cab on the sidewalk, but nothing too crazy

But here's the fun part ...

As the people directly under the site ran away ... quite a few people who were a ways off from the site actually ran towards the debris, holding up their cell phones for pics/video. It was really hilarious in a twilight zone kinda way ...

Of course, I whipped out my cell phone too
