Constantly getting packages early?

For some strange reason I have been getting my packages a day early. I just looked up my Newegg purchase and its coming in 2 days instead of the 3 days it has pretty much always taken to get here. Other shipments from Amazon, Home Depot and Monoprice have arrived a day early.

I am sure this is somehow a conspiracy against me - I just haven't figured out the goal yet....

You're likely near a distribution center. Most of my Amazon 2-day orders arrive next day.

Just waiting for you to become accustomed to the early deliveries and then make a complaint thread when they suddenly return to the usual 3 days. :awe:

Maybe there is a new terminal near you.

Count yourself lucky. I ordered an SSD from Newegg on Friday and was then informed that it shipped the dreaded "DHL-->USPS" method, meaning I probably won't even see it this week.

I get Amazon packages very quickly, even though I always use the free shipping. The last thing I ordered, I placed it on a Friday and it came on Monday. That's unheard of.

This, also if you pay for overnight, check the label, the last few I have had shipped 2-day (through shoprunner) show up overnight using ground. I bet they save a ton of money doing this.

We use to do this in a previous company I worked for, but we sometimes got burned because although it's ground and should make it to a close location in 1 day doesn't mean it's guaranteed. So we would occasionally end up with pissed off customers looking for a refund when it showed up ground 2 days later for an overnight delivery.

So these stranger's packages are constantly in your face and cumming so early you have no time to properly prepare? :hmm:

Thats what I was wondering. I've been here for a couple of years now and this just started happening

Ugh - I hate DHL to USPS

Under-promise, over-deliver.

I was wondering if they changed to that strategy. In the past my packages always arrived on the exact date they said they would. Never early, never late. Maybe this is their way of making themselves look better.

"Hey, it always takes 4 days. Now lets say it takes 5 days but deliver in 4 so they are happier."

Not strangers. This isn't the first time I have gotten packages from these sources. Some are fairly frequent

It's not consistent, but my package does sometimes come early :'(

You need more stress/masterbation/alcohol/ugly images/math to help with that

Ordered something 2 day prime from Amazon this past Saturday, after 5 PM. They said I would get it Wednesday, probably delayed a day due to MLK day. Then amazingly UPS delivered it Monday anyways.

So they just keep cumming and cumming? That must be really hard to swallow.

I live one town over from the distribution center for... everything in my part of the country. I get shipments almost next day or close to that sometimes.

Happens to me too, Amazon prime comes next day instead of 2 days... I ain't complaining but still... its a bit creepy. Are the businesses running slow, is it a sign of downward economy?

I've been getting that too. With Amazon Prime two day shipping I have been getting my stuff the day after it ships.

UPS was not closed for MLK. USPS was.

Week? More like month!

Should have cashed in the free year of ShopRunner when I posted the link to the offer.
