I am a Diabetic for the past 1 1/4 years and I am 21. As of late, I have been getting a Nauscious feeling every so often throughout the day. I will start to have dry heaves and have excess saliva in my mouth. I normally haven't felt this way, and was wondering if diabetes can be causing this possibly? Any help would be appreciated.

Why do people persist in asking medical questions on a computer/technical forum???

GO SEE A DOCTOR FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!

The forum is "off-topic", so please, if you have an answer go ahead, but if not, mind your own business.

Should I get my wifes sewing kit?

I've got a nail gun. It'd be faster.

Doctor Soy is in the house. I recommend you drink pepto bismal until you feel better. It may take liters.

Or you could go to a doctor.

Entirely your choice.

Could be many different things. Best thing to do is see a doctor, you'll get some peace of mind.

I am suffering from the same thing. I have seen an Ear Nose and Throat specialist who did multiple auditory tests on me to see if there was a problem with my inner ear. All were negative.

He told me that it was just a matter of time until the nausea faded. Sucks for me because it is in the middle of my rugby season and I can barely run without needing to stop to regain my balance :(

You should see an ENT as well.

I was going to stay out of this, having no medical advice to give, but I thought I'd share an interesting thought on this topic: Medical advice on the forums.

Stratus is new here so I'm sure you clowns can cut him some slack and explain nicely that seeking medical advice from compugeeks isn't the best idea.

Also when someone asks for car advice everyone is glad to post their opinion, right or wrong, but how is that much different? You might say, well, medical advice is a life or death situation and so deserves a more serious consideration, but if bad repair advice causes your brakes to fail and hit a tree or god forbid a head on with another car that could potentially be dangerous too.

So my question to ponder and to save a failing thread is: why is one frowned upon and the other not?

Hope you feel better soon and welcome to ATOT Stratus.
