constant "Delay write failed" on my p2p vm

Red Squirrel

No Lifer
I have a XP VM I use for p2p (mostly utorrent) and I constantly get "delay write failed" errors. I don't seem to be loosing any data integrity, everything works ok. What would cause this? The data is being written to a network share. Any other PC/server has zero trouble accessing that file server.

perhaps there can be high latency between the vm and the nas sometimes and it makes the os think the drive is acting up?
