I got a XP1600 in this board.....and i have a thermoengine with the stock fan on it. The heatsink gets freaking HOT......and sometimes when I reboot the computer won't show anything on the screen and I'll hear a constant beeping from the computer....its not one long beep...but series of beeps. Is this an overheating problem???...I'm guessing it is.....any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah...and the 4-LED lights..its red, green, red, red when its beeping.

Just curious but did you look at the manual to see what the code meant...? (thinking you have the manual...?)

Also it means no memory detection... ;)

Try a single stick of ram. If that does not work... I have had success reflashing my bios (not sure why it worked but it did).

My boards have done that just because of shared resources before. Reflashing the bios has helped me in the past.

Let us know what works for you.

If that's the K7T Turbo(green PCB) and not the K7T Turbo2(red PCB) then the problem is that it doesn't support the XP. Otherwise, it does sound like a bad stick of ram or it's not seated properly. Also, do something about that HS/F!!! If you have to pull your finger away because it's that hot then you need a better HS/F combo. Newegg or 2CoolTek have a good selection and pricing.
