Constant 100% HDD Activity 80 MB/second

I have a new computer that is running Windows 7 64 Ultimate. It has an Asrock x58 Xtreme 3 motherboard, and an OCZ Vertex LE SSD. When I first installed Windows, I disabled several things that I knew would access the drive often. I disabled the page file, and prefetch (or superfetch, or whichever one it is that most people disable when they have an SSD), and also disk defragmentation.

Everything was working fine for a long time. I would see the HDD light be mostly off, and it would blink periodically, probably once a second. I was okay with this. Now the light is on 100% of the time, and it never shuts off. I have run AVG to see if I have a virus, and it seems to think everything is in order. I checked out the resource monitor, and in Disk Activity, the system process is constantly writing and reading about 80,000,000 Bytes per second to the drive. I was hoping someone here had some ideas on how I may troubleshoot this, and stop all of this hard disk activity before it ruins my SSD. Thanks.
