i was thinking the other day about cub scouts back in the day, when i was around 7 or 8. we took a trip to the police station and i think i remember everyone getting fingerprinted for our "safety". basically, did all of us submit our fingerprints to the police database? not that im paranoid, but if my fingerprints are found in relation with something illegal, im basically screwed right?

When you got your fingerprints for "Safety" your fingerprints where entered into the police database, the FBI data base and basicly any other govm't organization that would even care. Yep if you done anything illeagle or you fingerprints are there. They have them already because of cub scouts. They also do this will schools now (elementry schools) for there "SAFTY"

cub scouts is there to teach you to not do things that would require someone to run a set of fingerprints through a database to find out who did it.
i guess the cub scout leaders werent confident in there instructional cappabilities, so they had a back up plan.

Exactly, the have to figure that even on a good group there is goign to be at least one that "Turns to the dark side" and not knowing which one that would be they have to fingerprint them all just to be sure!

Schools are the worst, they minipulate little kids into doing this for there Safty such as fingerprinting. they make them fill out questionairs to help with there (personality) and help relate to other kids, but they are really trying to find early signs that a kid is going to grow up to be a killer or rapest or somthign like that. Did you ever fill out those stupid things in elementry school, on what you do when you go home, what your vacation was like and random sh!t like that!! think about it! they have a whole field on child psycology

My kids' elementary school puts pictures of the kids on the internet, along with their names, along with the phone/address book of all the families; they have a pictorial section of kids in gym class in interesting positions. Seriously.

They nearly expelled my kid when I refused to sign the permission forms for the web site. They won some kind of award for "best school web site".

i had no clue this was going on in elementary schools now.

shouldnt there be some sort of restriction on taking advantage of unsuspecting children.
 
One of the four times I went to boy scouts we got fingerprints taken. I can't remember if we kept the 10-card or if it was conveniently left at the police station. I guess I'll have to buy some nice gloves before I live out my fantasy of reenacting all the good dead baby jokes.
