I hadn't noticed the Greta Thunberg is a time traveler conspiracy theory much. If she is, she's a terrible time traveler, because she's not giving us details about how to fix things.

You want a conspiracy theory? Here's a conspiracy theory. Elon Musk is a time traveler. He came from the future and he's trying to build machines from the future using today's technology.

First, he went back to the '90s and made his fortune with PayPal. Because you can't change the world without money and it's hard to bring money back in time, what with inflation and such. Then he got to work on the important technologies, electric cars and reusable rockets.

It turns out rocket science is hard. Elon almost ran out of money! But he had a backup plan: a way to make money from nothing but computer time. Yes, I think Elon Musk is Satoshi Nakamoto! The Whitepaper appeared in 2008, and from 2008 to 2009 the financial future of SpaceX was very uncertain. I'm sure he didn't want to release Bitcoin, given the carbon footprint, but he must have felt he had no choice. Fortunately both companies did very well, and he didn't have to spend any of his Bitcoin.

Even if it's not true, it would make a great sci-fi story!
