OK, does it seem like things are getting wrapped up a little too nicely?

For instance, today they captured those 10(?) guys trying to pass themselves off as pilots. One of them actually had a brochure from the pilot training school? What kind of moron would be carrying that?

Also, all these copies of flying manuals, video tapes, and copies of the Koran just laying around in plain sight seem suspicious. Especially considering how covert this operation must have been to escape detection before it was initiated.

Do I think the United States govt. had something to do with this tragedy? Of course not, that's not what I am saying! I'm just wondering if perhaps there is some other nation or group who wants to pin this on the people we would most likely blame anyway.



Now, all that being said, I truly believe that bin Laden and his fellow psychos are responsible, because quite frankly I don't know any other group psychotic enough to try such a stunt. I do not honestly believe a nation powerful enough to orchestrate this would choose to.

I am just saying that I have some suspicions, and I would like your thoughts.

I have very strong suspisions about hardline extremist Israel factions. They have been itching to blow away Arabs, yet the US had kept telling them not to.

Before today, I thought it was simply one group of Arabs who did this. But after today, with the rediculously obvious Arabic flight manuals, it seems like those are planted somehow. No way any real sophisticated Arab terrorist would carry that type of manual with them TWICE!!

If there's any sort of conspiracy, it should revolve around the media stories of people "getting rescued" become false stories. Maybe the FBI wants the media to keep a lid on all of this and not publish names and such?

That is perhaps the best alternate theory I have heard (next to the obvious one, of course). However, I don't know anything about such factions. Anyone have info?

I hesitate to attack anything Israeli at the moment, as they (well their govt. and most of their people) have shown quite a lot of support (especially with their intel).

Well, they (the media) just found out those 'terrorists' were not really terrorists at all. Of course I don't know how reliable that is, seeing as how they seem to be SCREWING UP CONSTANTLY.

If indeed they weren't terrorists, I don't really have much suspicion anymore.

I think Cheney has been taken out....this was the "imminent danger" that Bush was in and why the plane was diverted from Washington.....I have not seen any footage that proves to me otherwise, I have only seen footage of Bush and Cheney together once and everyone in the room was smiling....looked to be stock footage, plus I don't think Bush and Cheney would be in the same area together under the circumstances......News keeps reporting that Cheney is secured. That's it! No words from him since the attack. They could always come back at a later time and say that he had a heart attack. Maybe he was at the Pentagon when the plane hit......I said it first 2 nites ago in this thread here

Yeah very interesting about Cheney. He used to be on the TV talking even about menial things. No when the US might be going to war, he has nothing to say?

These folks who did this are considered hero's to their cause. I would guess they left the clues / evidence so it COULD be traced to them. Also, the nationalities of those who have been found thus far appear to be tied to Bin Laden, so, I don't think it was a conspiracy.

If it was a conspiracy and it was discovered (which would be a high probability), can you imagine the repurcusions to the country who did this. I don't think any leader would want to risk that, but, it's not impossible.

Thus, IMHO, no conspiracy.

I thought about this while in the shower this morning. What if Cheney isn't at Camp David? What if he died of a heart attack and no one wants to say?

Actually thoughts like that (i.e. someone trying to pass this whole thing to arabs) entered my mind. Otherwise, it's just too obvious and dumb. Let's just hope our intel. doesn't let us down this time and finds the responsible, whatever nationality they are.

Ok. I don't want to get flamed here but everything's a possibility at this point. Imagine this. We get attacked. The media is leaked info that it is "90% positive that bin laden was the culprit." But in fact it was someone else. But not just someone. A whole group of someones. As other have brought this up before, was this just a diversion? Where are we now concentrating our forces and where are we ignoring other threats? Everything does seem a little too orchestrated (evidence found). So let me bring up this. We also need to look at who can benefit from the our focus on Bin Laden and the middle east. With the Taliban now saying that bin laden could not have pulled this off and asking the Arabs around the world to unite against the US in the event we attack......

I'm usually a level headed guy but by reading one too many books, i've become suspicious of alot of things. Ok let's assume that someone funded the actions of these "arabs". What countries have large numbers of muslims? Well there's Iraq, Iran, China. And possibly some others. Anyways, these are three countries that have the ability to fund these terrorists. I'm not saying that these countries had anything to do with it but just saying that each of these countries has something to benefit from our resources and the resources of other countries being focused on Bin Laden.
