Consoles coming to PC

Does anybody know if Heavy Rain and Dante's Inferno are coming to PC at any point?

They both just came out for consoles and they look terrific. I'm also a huge Indigo Prophecy fan and I've waiting for Quantic to make some type of sequel and I think Heavy Rain is the spiritual successor. I haven't read anywhere if they plan too.

Same goes for Fable 2 (and 3 eventually). Since Fable 1 got ported did they just decide to kill the PC aspect of it?

FYI I hate when games I want don't come out for PC!

None of these games are coming to PC unfortunately...

Im especially ticked off about Heavy Rain...PS3 exclusive? Has sales failure written all over it...I mean, Indigo Prophecy (which I loved) never even came to the PS2...so I would at least be happy with a Xbox 360 release of the game (even though I dont own one, but I would have a 360 before a PS3). Game developers and their ideas sometimes just shock me. Really.

Indigo Prophecy did come out for the PS2.
Reason Heavy Rain is a PS3 exclusive is cause Sony is publishing it.
PS3 exclusives do just fine

Heavy Rain as an exclusively single-player experience would have "Please Pirate Me" written all over it if it was to be released on PC.

Sony is publishing it so it's a moot point, but I'm just saying.

Heavy Rain is like indigo prophecy? I loved indigo prophecy, best story driven game ever.
I should have traded my xbox 360 for a ps3 instead of cash.

Heavy Rain is the follow-up to Indigo Propechy. Quantic Dream kept the emphasis on story and it's still feels like you're playing your part in a movie, but a lot of the other mechanics have been adjusted based on what they've learned. It doesn't come out until the 23rd, but is one of only two or three titles I've pre-ordered in the last five years.

yeah Indigo Prophecy had a gameplay mechanic that I haven't seen any other game do. And thankful they have continue that same story driven type game but I am now tortured that the game I want is out there but I cannot play!

Did anyone try overclocked the history of violence? Seems like a very similar game to indigo prophecy.

I think you'll probably be ok renting it from blockbuster instead of buying it. The developers have said they are aiming for a cinematic feel and the optimal experience is a single playthrough where your decisions become the official story.

The next couple weeks are going to be busy for PS3 owners. Heavy Rain, then FF13, then God of War 3.

The demo is out today. Sony has no problems pushing exclusives on the PS3. That's what the platform has largely been built on. Besides, there are plenty of similar games on PC.

The console vs PC war is kind of pointless. If you can afford to, play both.

For the cost of a video card you can buy a console and live happily ever after :)

I've thought about this for awhile, I just bought the wii about a year ago and I built my computer about 2 years ago. And I just bought a blu ray, maybe I could have just spent the extra $150 or so and gotten a PS3

There are some things going on in my life that may affect me financially here soon. If it turns out positively for me I will most definitely pick up a PS3 for two reasons: 1 blueray, 2 heavy rain.

I know it is stupid to buy it for a single game release but honestly I have been reading about this game since i beat IP and now... Sony!

Dante's Inferno looks great but the reviews leave something to be desired. Heavy Rain though might be worth getting a PS3 sometime (and a few other PS3 only games)

I have a wii as well, but honestly it's a dust collector as it typically only gets played when there's a group of people over my house.

When I bought the PS3 it was so that I could play FPS games with my friends who abandoned the PC, but even after 3 months I still can't stand the console controls over the KB/Mouse and went back to my PC for FPS games. The PS3 however is an awesome compliment to my PC as I've found out in the sports, adventure and a few action game realm. It's a completely different experience to PC gaming and I'm glad I tried it out instead of continuing to be a PC elitist.

The other thing I hope to do with it is use it as a media hub, but I haven't had a chance to check out that aspect of it.

It doesn't really function very well as a media hub, but it does great as a player if you leave your PC as the hub. The PS3 will be able to play almost anything you share over the network on your media PC through WMP (not .264) but if you want it to stream Hulu you'll need PlayOn.

I would definitely use PC for FPS because I hate using the stick to shoot, a mouse is superior. But for action/adventure games like God War, Assassins Creed, Prince of Persia, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, etc. I would prefer consoles.
