It boggles my mind looking at the sheer amount of DS games that come out every week...

Arkham Asylum's demo was pretty fun, although I think it's more of a renter than anything.

Arkham Asylum for me. Got my shipping notice from Gamefly today, so hopefully it will be here by Wednesday or Thursday.

Heh, not often that the Wii has the hands down best lineup for core gamers, not that it takes much this week, but the Prime Trilogy should be an absolute no brainer for anyone with a Wii that doesn't own the games already.

Not a bad week. Dissidia, Mana Khemia 2, and Batman: Arkham Asylum are all good games. And I KNOW some people are looking forward to the Prime Trilogy, although the games aren't to my taste.

UPS man should be bringing me Arkham Asylum tomorrow. Gotta love Amazon's free release date delivery service (free if you have prime anyway)

FYI on Arkham Asylum. Toys R Us is offering a $30 gift card with the purchase of Batman: Arkham Asylum. This deal is only good between 10AM and 2PM on Tuesday, 8/25 and you have to be a member of the free "Rewards R Us" program.

You'll get a $20 gift card back the rest of the week though.

Says out of stock on both.

I'm really torn on what version to get (PC, 360, or PS3) but according to this site the PS3 barely edges the 360 albeit extremely close. This will be the first time I've gone with a PS3 version over the 360 one for a multiplat title. Hmmm...

PS3 version comes with a playable Joker in the challenge maps. That would probably be the deciding factor for most that own both consoles.

Interesting. I felt the camera was a little too close for comfort in the demo (360) but apparently the camera is pulled back a little in the PS3 version. It was mostly when walking around that it bothered me, though. Fighting and grappling was fine.

I'm trying to be extremely frugal right now but I'm about to bite on Batman...

I enjoyed the Batman demo, but it isn't a $60 game to me. I will wait until it is a Platinum Hit for $20 with all of the DLC goodies included. 🙂

Metroid Prime Trilogy looks like a goodie, since the only thing that was holding the GC Metroids back from being amazing classics was the wonky control scheme. However, LOL WII, so that's a no-go for me.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy also looks like an interesting game, but it's on the PSP, unfortunately. 🙁

Some good stuff this week (for once...), but unfortunately, mostly on the wrong systems. 😉

I agree, the Dissidia: Final Fantasy game looks pretty neat. I saw a trailer of the game the other day, it looked cool to play. To bad it's only on the psp. If it would have came out for the PS3, I would have definitely gotten the game.
