Call of Juarez headlines this week's releases along with Harry Potter on every platform known to man. Not even Ice Age could match the number of platforms that Harry Potter released on this week (sorry PSP).

Oh, and BlazBlu: Calamity Trigger now holds the title of the lamest DLC release known to man. Not only have they already released the DLC but it's to unlock content already on the disk. :disgust:

I'll pick up the 360 Blazblue as I have a $20 Toysrus gift card from their Ghostbusters promo (and I think its void in a month) and I'll get the pc version of Call of Juarez if I can get it on the cheap.

I'm going to have to grab Blazblue as well. I should have got it at ebgames back when they still had the art book, but I was lazy and didn't order then.

I don't have a problem with release week DLC, nor do I have a problem with DLC being on the disc already. You know what you're getting when you buy the game. It's like MS putting multiple versions of Windows on the same disc but only allowing you to install the one that you paid for. It's not the 1s and 0s that you're paying for.

From the descriptions though, this isn't even really DLC - it's basically paid cheat codes.
This content can be obtained through normal gameplay.

If someone is willing to pay to save themselves some effort... fine by me.

They've done this on other games as well. I believe you could pay to unlock costumes and stuff in Soul Calibur IV that you could get normally with some time in the game.

Yeah it's kind of stupid to even offer it, but the DLC descriptions point out that these things can be attained for free in game. At that point they can pay for it if they want.

Right, it's just there for people too lazy or not good enough to unlock it normally. If they want to pay for it then so be it.
