In space, no one can hear you scream. That is unless you bring along some Predators and a cadre of Colonial Marines. The resulting cacophony of noise can be deafeningly fun which is what developers Rebellion and publisher Sega is hoping for with this week's release of Aliens vs Predator for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

A number of notable handheld come our way this week including a new entry in the Ace Attorney series and an updated version of the music synthesizer Korg for the Nintendo DS as well as another entry in the SOCOM series for the PSP.

Other notable releases include the macabre and quirky P.B. Winterbottom for Xbox Live Arcade.

Wow, is the Ace Attorney series good enough to warrant 5 games? I played the first one (part of it at least) and it was alright, but it didn't blow me away. It didn't seem like you could really make a mistake that would screw you, you just had to keep hacking at it until you found the solution. It wasn't really something I'd want to play 5 times unless they've gone beyond what they did in the first game.

Now Advance Wars, that's a game that doesn't change a whole lot each time, but I wish they'd make a new one every year.

From what I understand, the new game is a different take. It concentrates on investigations (hence the name) and not the courtroom stuff.

The mechanics of the game are pretty much the same just with a spin.

Queasy, I must say, I know this is OT, but this is one the reasons I wanted to say this as I read your release threads everyweek.

You rock. Besides the work you put in here, which is a lot, your articles on in your hometown newspaper are stellar.

I just wanted to say THANKS. I think your work deserves a much bigger audience than Console Gaming provides.
