And the N64. And the SNES. And the NES. And the GBA. And the GBC. And the GB. And the Genesis. And the Saturn. And the PSX. And the Atari 2600.

What is it? The The Atari 7800 ProSystem (back compatible with 2600 and probably 1 or 2 other models)

Edit: I have two. One doesn't work. I'm gonna dissect it. Watch for the thread later.

Yet it's still lying in an old cardbord box covered in dust.

'Nuff said.

That kind of looks like a 2600 to me.

The 7800 was short-lived but nice. However, I remember the controllers being somewhat odd (to put it kindly) though they didn't break as often (every 2 minutes) as the 2600 ones.

Yes. Yes it does.

On a side note, I had to kitbash a significant chunk of my A/V junkstash to convert the VHF-via-RCA-cable A/V signal to traditional 3-RCA console. I could've easily taken it to coax, but I *HATE* coax with a passion (and I have my CATV hooked up, dammit)

No love for ET or raiders of the lost ark? I remember playing them a lot. Maybe because they were so bad and unintuitive that you couldn't ever complete them with any reliable strategy.

I remember swordquest vaguely as well.

If Im' not mistaken, you can use the 2600 controllers on this thing. I also have a 2600 up in the attic. You'll note that the paddle controllers in the box with it ARE 2600 paddles, and that one is, indeed, broken.

River Raid 2 was like one of the last 2600 games made, it ruled too. I'm happy to say I bought it new at a b&m :D

....and it's all about the 'aftermarket' joysticks :)

Also 2600 joysticks work on Commodore 64s

Both of those are in there. If you guys are interested, I'll list the complete game contents.

sorry but my xbox can play games for more than half the systems you listed. It also streams movies and music for me.

I miss my 7800 :( I bought it instead of a Nintendo back in 1987. Had Ms. PacMan, Galaga, Mario Brother, Pete Rose Baseball, and Pole Position II and a bunch of 2600 games.

You know what's better than everything you listed including the 7800?

Pictures being resized before they are posted :)
