Consistent CRC errors on everything I download

Lately everything I've downloaded has been giving me CRC errors. This includes zips, rar's and exe's. I know it must be something on my end because others have downloaded these files from the same source with no problems. Here's what I've tried so far.

Ran Memtest86 for 2 hours with no problems
Reset my bios to Fail-safe defaults
Ran a full system scan in Norton with the latest definitions
Ran chkdsk and defrag
Tried extracting on all 3 hard drives
Tried different rar and zip programs

I'm losing my mind, I have no idea what could be causing this, as about 2 weeks ago everything was working fine.

My specs are as follows

EpoX 8KHA+ with latest official BIOS
Athlon XP 1600 @1.4ghz (No overclocking)
2x256mb DDR Micron RAM
1 40 gb Maxtor hard drive and 1 60gb Maxtor hard drive (both onboard IDE)
1 WD 100gb hd on a Promise ATA-100 PCI IDE card
Visiontek Geforce3TI200 with latest 40.72 drivers
Creative Audigy with latest drivers
Windows XP Pro with latest VIA 4-in-1's

This modem or broadband/network? Could definately be a faulty network cable..

Via chipset, SB Live/Audigy, and a Promise Ultra66/100 card, are a bad combination. All three have hardware PCI-bus issues/data-corruption bugs, and in combination, are almost certainly going to cause problems, unless you have updates for everything.

Which HD were you downloading onto, that had the CRC corruption issues? Have you tried (I know this sounds crazy, but it might be useful for testing) downloading the same file, onto each of your HDs?

Do you have the most up-to-date BIOS for the mobo?

Have you installed the Promise Ultra Family 2.0.0.29 driver set? It is actually for all of the Promise cards, not just the TX2. The .INF file included with the driver shows this clearly, even though Promise's web site doesn't show it as the newest driver for the Ultra66/100 cards. (Actually, I see you are using XP. I think that is the only driver that is fully stable on XP for the Ultra100. The one released immediately after that one, I've heard anecdotal reports that that one isn't stable on XP, and all prior drivers to 2.0.0.29 weren't stable either. So try 2.0.0.29.)
