Consistent CRC errors on everything I download

Lately everything I've downloaded has been giving me CRC errors. This includes zips, rar's and exe's. I know it must be something on my end because others have downloaded these files from the same source with no problems. Here's what I've tried so far.

Ran Memtest86 for 2 hours with no problems
Reset my bios to Fail-safe defaults
Ran a full system scan in Norton with the latest definitions
Ran chkdsk and defrag
Tried extracting on all 3 hard drives
Tried different rar and zip programs

I'm losing my mind, I have no idea what could be causing this, as about 2 weeks ago everything was working fine.

My specs are as follows

EpoX 8KHA+ with latest official BIOS
Athlon XP 1600 @1.4ghz (No overclocking)
2x256mb DDR Micron RAM
1 40 gb Maxtor hard drive and 1 60gb Maxtor hard drive (both onboard IDE)
1 WD 100gb hd on a Promise ATA-100 PCI IDE card
Visiontek Geforce3TI200 with latest 40.72 drivers
Creative Audigy with latest drivers
Windows XP Pro with latest VIA 4-in-1's

are you downloading via a network card or a modem?

in either case, try a new network card/modem and see if it is corrected

Yeah, cable internet through a Dlink NIC. I was hoping the fix wouldn't involve any expenses, but I guess I'll try that out.

It happens mostly when I download through an FTP client like FlashFXP or Bulletproof FTP. It also rarely does it in IE, too.
