Hi All,

I'm considering buying the P4C800-E for my new system. I'm green to overclocking and will probably try it out but I'm not going to go overboard. I don't have the time to fuss around with squeezing out the max out of this system. I just want to configure everything to work properly and just do my day to day stuff and play games.. tons of games without headaches :)

Will I have a problem with this board? I keep on reading about all the problems people have. I guess to sum it up I just want a good stable board. Here's what I'm specing out so far for this system:

Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, (Twin Pack) 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200 - Retail
Intel Pentium 4/ 3.0C GHz 800MHz FSB, 512KB Cache, Hyper Threading Technology - Retail
ASUS 875P Motherboard for Intel Pentium 4/Celeron Processors, Model "P4C800-E DELUXE" Retail
ATI AIW RADEON 9800PRO Video Card, 128MB DDR, 256-bit, DVI/CATV/VIVO, 8X AGP -RETAIL
some serial ATA drive probably Maxtor 160 Gig

I'm not going to burden you guys with the rest like burners etc.. Is this a good setup? should I not bother with the 875 and step down to a 865? any recommendations?

Thanks for your help
