I found something for $5 per month... allows up to 25 POP3 e-mail addresses, 300 MB of storage, 20GB per month bandwidth, SSL, plus tons of other stuff... they say they have "two OC 192 fiber optic SONET rings and multiple backbones from AT&T, UUNET, SPRINT and CWIX make up one of the largest Internet connections on the U.S.A. east coast"
$5 per month doesn't sound like much to me... is there a catch I'm missing? Here's a link.

Hmmmm... I'm lookin for a place I can use to host pictures and MP3's from some underground bands... so that 100 MB storage, and 100 MB/day isn't enough... and those other options are a little expensive and have a lot of features I won't use. I could host on my 2nd computer, but my ISP doesn't like that. I tried it and they called me and told me I'm not allowed to host a server, and to stop or my service will be terminated and I'll be fined according to the user agreement.

You might want to be a bit careful.. 20 GB might sound like a lot, but that's about 5,000 MP3 downloads. Again, it sounds like a lot, but that's like 166 per day, which is nothing.

I'd say you should take a very hard look at your bandwidth requirements and figure out how much you actually need, a on a monthly basis. Most classic websites are fine with 20 GB, but since you're providing file downloads, you'll eat that in a few days, if your site gets popular.
