Considering new TV due to pricing...

Bestbuy has the 60" Sharp Aquos LED 120Hz for 999.

Amazon seems to list the same TV at 1426.

Is the Sharp Aquos brand a good one to go after? Should I pass? What say you?

From what I know, they aren't bad - they just don't generate much excitement among enthusiasts except for their 70" and 80" panels.

Sharp has never been considered a top of the line brand but the reviews seem good on that TV.

had a sharp from 2004 and liked it. only reason i bought a new one was my older kid broke it.

unless you buy the most expensive TV is there really a difference between TV's in the same price range basic spec range?
